2 Weeks in Review

The last 2 weeks have been a crazy whirlwind for the Gamescampus marketing staff.  We started our first sponsorship of the Giants and Angels baseball spring training in Phoenix, Arizona.  The weather was really great and the cactus were plentiful.  We truly did not know what to expect from our promotions of MLB dugout heroes at the spring training games- all we were told were that each spring training game promised up to 10,000 baseball fans which meant we were going to try to reach out to a total of 100,000 people in 15 days.

We learned very interesting facts through experience + observation about the offline baseball fans demographics:

1. Predominately Caucasian and African American

2. Will pay for $5 dollar beer and $5 dollar lemonade but look at us with a strange face when we say our game is completely “Free 2 Play”!

3. 7/10 say MLB Dugout Heroes reminds them of RBI baseball and Backyard baseball
